iOS Developer · 13 Years · Rogue XVII
I'm Whiskey Tango Hotel — an iOS developer with 13 years of experience building and shipping native apps to the App Store. I operate under the Rogue XVII handle and work across the full iOS stack: Swift, SwiftUI, Objective-C, UIKit, and everything in between.
My career has spanned healthcare, enterprise mobility, and media — from maintaining HIPAA-compliant physician workflows at Ingenious Med, to building secure credential management tools at VMware, to delivering daily news to Knoxville audiences via WBIR. I keep security considerations front and centre in every feature discussion.
When I'm not writing code I'm designing and printing things layer by layer. 3D printing sits at the intersection of engineering and creativity — planning a model, dialing in tolerances, watching something physical emerge. It never gets old.
Native Swift & SwiftUI applications built for iPhone and iPad.
Native iOS app delivering breaking local news, weather, and video to Knoxville audiences for NBC affiliate WBIR. Currently under active development — maintaining and extending features for a live, high-traffic production app.
Physician-designed mobile platform that simplifies clinical workflows and charge capture. Maintained and extended features across multiple releases, implemented HIPAA-compliant data storage using Keychain and Core Data, built a CI/CD pipeline with Fastlane and Jenkins, and automated end-to-end tests with Gherkin and XCUITest.
VMware's flagship enterprise mobility management client, rebranded from Workspace ONE to Intelligent Hub. Built v1.0 from the ground up in Objective-C, later updated to Swift. Implemented OAuth with VMware Identity Manager, a JavaScript↔native WebView bridge, and custom SSL pinning via URLChallengeHandlers.
Secure credential management app for U.S. government and enterprise users, built from v1.0 through v1.4. Integrated Entrust, Intercede, and Purebred SDKs for smart card–derived credentials. Implemented AES pin-based encryption for on-device credential storage and secure inter-app credential sharing via OpenURL.
FDM printing on a Creality CR-20 — from silk rainbow filament to gothic lanterns. Printed from downloaded models, dialing in settings, material choices, and tolerances to get results worth showing off.
Low-poly glowing skull — the print illuminates from within, with light channelling through the eye sockets and nose cavity. Printed in white PLA on a Creality CR-20. The build took 3 days of constant printing.
The same lantern in daylight, showing the detail of the black gothic lattice work, the decorative crown top with gargoyle-style corner pieces, and the flared base.
PLA Supports
Hexagonal gothic-style lantern with an intricate lattice outer shell. Housing a blue LED inside transforms it into an eerie glowing piece. Two-part print: black PLA outer shell + translucent inner diffuser.
PLA Creality CR-20 LED Mod
A faceted skull printed in white PLA — thin enough in the right spots to let LED light diffuse through the eye sockets and nasal cavity.
White PLA LED Mod Thin Walls
Batch print of rose buds alongside the dragon pen holder. The silk filament's gradient runs from teal at the base through warm orange to deep violet at the rose petals.
Silk Rainbow PLA Multi-model Bed
A baby dragon clutching a hollow jug — designed as a desk pen or brush holder. The silk rainbow filament naturally transitions from teal at the head through violet to pink at the base.
Silk Rainbow PLA Creality CR-20
A cylindrical castle tower with embossed brick texture, gothic arched windows, and a separate battlemented lid — doubles as a dice tower for tabletop games.
Marble PLA Tabletop Gaming
A large multi-part diorama using almost the full CR-20 build volume — stone base with scattered boulders, gothic arched entry, and a spiral-stair tower.
Marble PLA Creality CR-20Browser-based tools for iOS development and general API work. Each opens as a standalone focused page — no installs, no accounts, nothing leaves your browser.
Generate an ES256 JWT and build a complete curl command to test Apple Push Notifications via the HTTP/2 APNs API.
Supported devices, Swift language features, SwiftUI APIs, and Xcode versions — iOS 17 through iOS 26 in one searchable reference.
Paste any JSON and instantly get production-ready Swift structs with Codable conformance, CodingKeys, and proper camelCase naming.
Drop a single 1024×1024 image and export every iOS, iPad, and Apple Watch icon size as individual PNGs or a ZIP bundle.
Send GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, and PATCH requests to any CORS-enabled endpoint. Inspect response body, headers, and timing in real time.
Decode any JWT to inspect its header and claims, check expiry status, and build new signed tokens with HMAC-SHA256/384/512.
Drop an X.509 certificate to extract its SPKI Base64 public key, plus subject, issuer, validity dates, and key algorithm info.
